China provides a clear and structured visa process for international travelers. While some participants may be eligible for visa-free entry or visa-on-arrival, most attendees will need to apply for a tourist (L) visa or a business (M) visa to attend ATBC2026 in Xishuangbanna.

• Invitation Letters: If you require an official invitation letter to support your visa application, please contact us at atbc2026@tropicalbiology.org with the subject line “Invitation Letter Request”.
   

• Processing Times: Visa processing may vary depending on the country; please apply at least two to three months prior to travel.
   

• Documentation: Typical requirements include a valid passport (with at least six months validity), a completed visa application form, a recent passport-sized photo, flight itinerary, and hotel booking confirmation (conference hotel information will be provided on the ATBC2026 website).
