We are delighted to welcome you soon to Xishuangbanna! As we prepare for an exciting week of scientific exchange and collaboration, we share below the guidelines for presentations in oral, symposium, virtual, and poster sessions.
These recommendations are intended to help ensure that all sessions run smoothly and provide a meaningful experience for both presenters and attendees.

If you are giving an oral or symposium presentation, please upload your file by Monday, June 22, 2026, at 23:59 GMT+8. This will help us ensure smooth transitions between talks and minimize technical issues during the sessions.

Presentations in Oral Sessions and Symposia

Before Your Session

  • Please arrive at your session room at least 10 minutes before the session begins.

  • Please check with the technical team or the volunteer beside the technical team to ensure that your presentation has been uploaded and is functioning properly.

  • Personal laptops are NOT allowed. Only files submitted through the official upload system will be used.

Presentation Format

  • Accepted formats: PowerPoint (.ppt, .pptx) or PDF.

  • Please use a 16:9 screen ratio.

  • To avoid technical issues, please do NOT include external links, embedded websites, or streaming videos that require internet access.

  • To avoid mixing political issues with scientific part of the conference, please note the following:

  1. It is recommended to avoid using maps that show national boundaries.

  2. If a map with national boundaries is necessary, it must be based on the latest standard world and China maps provided by bzdt.ch.mnr.gov.cn.

  3. Special attention should be highlighted to the fact that the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region, Macao Special Administrative Region, and Taiwan Province are all part of China.

Time Allocation

  • Each speaker will have 12 minutes for the presentation, followed by 3 minutes for Q&A, unless your session organizers, in the case of symposia, have informed you of a different time format.

  • Kindly adhere to this timing to support the smooth flow of sessions.

Language and Diversity

  • As part of our commitment to celebrating diversity and fostering inclusivity in science, presenters will have the option to deliver their talks in languages other than English. This initiative seeks to amplify the voices of diverse communities and perspectives by creating space to communicate scientific knowledge in languages spoken across the tropics.

  • If, during your submission, you indicated that you will present in a language other than English, we kindly ask that you prepare bilingual slides, including both the language of your presentation and English, to facilitate understanding among all attendees.
