Bo-Jie Fu

Bo-Jie Fu, Member of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, is a professor at CAS Research Center for Eco-Environmental Sciences. Specializing in physical geography and landscape ecology, he has made systematic innovations in land use-ecological processes, ecosystem services and sustainable development. He has published over 400 SCI papers in top journals like Nature and Science, and won awards including the National Natural Science Award twice (Second Class, 2005 and 2020) and EGU Humboldt Medal. As Vice-President of the International Geographical Union, he advances global ecological cooperation.
