Zhi Lu

Zhi LU is a Boya Distinguished Professor at Peking University, founder of PKU Center for Nature and Society and Shan Shui Conservation Center. She focuses on flagship species conservation and community-based conservation, and is an advisor to the UN Decade of Restoration. She co-chairs IPBES second global assessments since 2025, and publishes papers in Nature and Science, explores practical solutions for global biodiversity conservation.
